HBO To Consider Expanding HBO GO Beyond Cable Subscribers
These days, we all have such busy lives that we can't schedule our lives around what time the new episode of our favourite programme is on. Sometimes our train will be delayed, and we'll miss the first 25 minutes. If only there were something online that we could use to watch this programme whenever we had free time. This demand for any time access means that there is a sudden wave of online streaming websites cropping up. TV alone just doesn't cut it anymore. People will watch their show on their phone during their daily commute, whereas they can't bring their TV on the tube with them.

So although they may lose money on their cable network, they make this money back by keeping audience members within their company instead of elsewhere.
